Softforay Rebrands as NMS Consulting Following Deal Closing

Four months after announcing its acquisition of Softforay Dijital Dönüşüm, US-headquartered management consultancy has completed the deal.

In March, NMS Consulting agreed to buy Istanbul-based Softforay, a consultancy that advises companies and public institutions in Turkey and the region (particularly Bulgaria, Kosovo and Albania) with end-to-end management consulting services, including organisation design, business process management, human resources, finance & risk management, mergers & acquisitions and digitisation.

The integration will see Softforay change its name to NMS Consulting and become (a leading) part of its Middle East and North Africa division, which also consists of an office in Dubai. “We are extremely excited to have finally completed this acquisition which was delayed due to the temporary quarantine shutdowns of certain government offices within Istanbul and Turkey. I’d like to personally thank the entire Istanbul team for their effort in making this process a seamless transaction,” said Trevor Saliba, Managing Partner of NMS Consulting.

Saliba founded the consulting firm in 2016, and under his leadership has consultancy has grown to a team of over 150 consultants working from 10+ offices worldwide.

NMS Consulting Completes Acquisition of Softforay Dijital

As part of the transaction, NMS has also closed on its minority stake in Softeconomics Yazilim Ve Danismanlik A.S.

NMS Consulting, Inc. (“NMS”), a global management consulting and strategic advisory firm, announced today that it has successfully completed the acquisition of Softforay Dijital Donumsum A.S. (“Softforay”), an Istanbul, Turkey-based management consulting firm. As part of the transaction, NMS has also closed on its minority stake in Softeconomics Yazilim Ve Danismanlik A.S. (“Softeconomics”), a leading Instanbul, Turkey based integrated services provider and reseller of ERP and Accounting Software programs.

Softforay, which specializes in providing end-to-end management consulting services, Organizational Architecture, Business Processes and Management, Information Systems Management, Human Resources, Risk Management, Financial Audit, M&A, Government Incentives Preparations and Corporate Board Services, shall change its name to NMS Consulting (MENA) A.S., and will operate under the global branding banner as NMS Consulting.

NMS Consulting Announces Senior Management Team Appointments

Senior management’s experience in transformation and project management will support companies in the Middle East in overcoming organizational hurdles.

NMS Consulting, Inc. (“NMS”) announced today that it has appointed the following individuals as part of the management consulting practice group based in the Istanbul office; Selcuk Alkas as Managing Director and Partner, Firat Kayikci and Gulcan Koseoglu as Partners, and Adnan Levent Mudun as Senior Consultant.

Selcuk has vast experience in ERP implementations, having completed around 80 ERP projects with successful results. His experience lies particularly in consulting for Government State branches. Previous clients include National Rail Ways, TURKSAT, Turkish Parliament, Chamber of Commerce, and Turk Telecom. Selcuk serves as the project leader for all State Sponsored R&D projects, as well as for Sate Institutions’ consultancy needs. Selcuk is also part of the Board of Directors for several companies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Sakarya University.

Fırat has over 10 years of professional consulting experience, where he advises clients on market research, media, marketing and digital transformation. He has worked as a Digital Media Consultant for website design and social media content production. Fırat also works on project planning, implementation, strategy development and communication. Firat holds a Master’s degree in Supervision and Management in Education from Gazikent University.

Gulcan Koseoglu brings her vast experience in the fields of logistics, corporate training, corporate communications, marketing strategy and brand awareness. Notable projects include her role as a project manager for promotional projects for the Ministry of Tourism in Istanbul, Turkey. Gulcan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a MBA in Organizational Behavior.

Adnan Levent Mudun has 36 years professional experience in international marine industries as a chief engineer and a Navy veteran. He provides solutions for cost optimization, supply chain analysis, quality improvement, and production efficiency. Levent holds mechanical and electrical engineering degrees, along with an MBA in Political Science.

Dr. Ferkan Celik Joins NMS Consulting as a Managing Director

Dr. Celik is a sought after advisor in academia and in the private and public sectors.

Dr. Ferkan Celik is a sought after advisor in academia and in the private and public sectors. Prior to joining NMS, she has worked with and advised multiple governments throughout Asia and has held senior positions within the Turkish Ministries of National Education, Industry and Trade, and Family and Social Policies. In these roles, she directly oversaw the creation, development, planning and implantation of many successful public and private-public programs, including the governmental program design and launch of more than 32 ministerial projects and 80 R&D centers.

Previously, Dr. Celik served on the Board of Directors of a Turkey based management consulting firm and was appointed as the Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of its research and development services division. In this role, she successfully completed the establishment of the Technology Transfer Office, the establishment of more than 150 R&D Centers, and 12 Turquality projects.

Prior experience also includes serving in Founding Director roles at Okan University and Yeditepe University for their Teknopark programs. She was directly responsible for the founding of the Technology Transfer Office which focused on university-industry cooperation within the organized industrial zones throughout Turkey.
